Interesting Links Bob Kull Photography I still spend a month alone camping and fishing in the wilderness each year. This link will take you to my Weebly site with photographs from the past six years.
Other Links Lee Gass Lee has been a deeply valued mentor and friend for many years. He was a vital member of my Ph.D. academic committee, a fantastic editor, and an inspiration as I learned to think and write more clearly. As well as being a wonderful teacher, Lee is also an amazing sculptor. You can view Lee's online gallery and also contact him via this link. New World Library is the best publishing house I could have imagined. Working with head editor, Jason Gardner, freelance editor Jeff Campbell, and managing editor Kristen Cashman has been a joyful experience. NWL created the book as a beautiful physical object and the final text is much better than was the manuscript I submitted to them. Senior publicist Kim Corbin has done an amazing job in introducing the book to others, and Ami Parkerson has always been responsive to my requests. The Wisdom Academy is the website of philosopher of mind, Christian de Quincey. His essays and his books Radical Nature and Radical Knowing are clear and compelling. De Quincey is a profound thinker and feeler of the body/mind process. Along with his own writing and teaching, he is enormously generous is supporting the work of others. He worked with me extensively in preparing my Solitude manuscript and in representing it to publishers. Thomas Moore's "Care of the Soul" was extremely valuable to me during my year in wilderness solitude. Magic Imaging Lab, UBC offered guidance and equipment to create and edit the video and slideshow.
