The cabin measured 3 by 5 meters. I built it on posts and covered the wooden frame with translucent tarp. I cooked with propane and used a wood burning stove for heat. This was, perhaps, the most homey place I’ve ever lived, and it was painful to tear it down when I left. But, as much as possible, I wanted to leave the area like it had been when I arrived.
